New Horizons Wellness offers trauma-informed, evidence based mental health support to those in Nelson County and beyond. In-person sessions are available at the office conveniently located in Lovingston, VA and virtual sessions are also available upon request.

Dawn Monroe, PhD
Welcome! Reaching out for support is such an important step and I am beyond grateful that our paths have crossed. With almost 20 years of experience, I specialize in working with children, adolescents and young adults who are navigating challenges with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harming behaviors and suicidal ideation. I aim to provide a compassionate and supportive environment where participants can explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. By utilizing parts-work (Internal Family Systems), Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities, I work with participants to increase their overall wellness.​

INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT SESSIONS:
- 1-on-1 sessions (50 min) $125/session

- Sliding Scale & Pro-bono options based on availability

PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL SMALL GROUPS:
- 6-8 adolescents per group.
- Topics include depression, grief, anxiety, social skills, etc.
- Group sessions (60 min) $50/sesion
- Available in person and online
- Length of group varies per group
